Dr. Anna Shursen, LPC, LSOTP
Dr. Anna Shursen is the Clinical Director of Forensic Evaluation and Treatment Services. Dr. Shursen has an established sex-offender treatment program for adult men, women, and juveniles. She also conducts Chaperon training within the Dallas Metroplex and has worked with offenders and victims of sexual abuse for 15 years.
Dr. Shursen conducts psychosexual evaluations, pre-trial evaluations, and offers expert witness testimony in various jurisdictions throughout the state.
Dr. Shursen received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University (West Texas), a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University.
Dr. Shursen is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider, and a De-registration Evaluation Specialist. Dr Shursen is a Certified Administrator of the Abel Assessment (AASI-3) and the DIANA Assessment.
Dr. Shursen is a member of The American Counseling Association, The Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, and The American Academy of Forensic Examiners.
